Nothing that leaves your device. RevApp has no registration, no login, no user profile and no server of its own. We do not receive, store or see any information about you or your use of the app.
So your setup survives a restart, the app remembers locally:
This stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is never transmitted and never read by us.
These entries are strictly necessary to provide the function you asked for — they are the settings you yourself changed, kept so you do not have to set them again. Storing them therefore requires no consent under section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, and the app shows no consent banner. There are no cookies and no analytics identifiers.
All engine recordings ship inside the app. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no profiling, no cookies, no third-party SDKs and no embedded content from other providers. Apart from purchases, which Apple's App Store handles, the app works fully offline — you may switch off mobile data and it will not behave differently.
Any purchase is processed by Apple, not by us. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us only with aggregated, anonymised sales figures from which you cannot be identified. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that processing.
If you write to revapp.support@gmail.com, we use your email address and your message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is closed, unless the law requires us to keep them. The mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail); Google processes the messages on our behalf.
If you read these texts on our website: it is hosted by Netlify. When you open a page, Netlify's servers necessarily process your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's technical details in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We set no cookies and use no analytics there either. Inside the app this section does not apply.
Because no personal data is collected, no children's data is processed either. The app requires no age declaration because there is nothing to declare it for.
Under the GDPR (Art. 15–21) you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Unless you have emailed us, we hold no data about you, and a request will normally be answered to that effect. Write to revapp.support@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Delete the app from your device. Everything it stored is removed with it. There is no account to close and nothing on our side to delete, because nothing about you was ever sent to us.

These terms govern your use of RevApp, provided by Maximilian Seiler.
RevApp is entertainment software. It reproduces engine sound from recordings and synthesis. It is not a measuring instrument, not a diagnostic tool and not a representation of any particular manufacturer's vehicle. Readings shown on screen are simulated.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you control. You may not extract, redistribute, resell or publish the audio contained in the app, nor reverse engineer it, except where the law permits regardless of agreement.
This app can produce loud sound. Prolonged listening at high volume, in particular through headphones, can damage your hearing. Do not use the app while driving, cycling or otherwise taking part in traffic, and not in any situation where it could distract you or others.
Additional engines, sound versions and the Dynamic Atmosphere theme are sold as one-time in-app purchases. There are no subscriptions. Purchases are made through Apple and Apple is the seller; Apple's terms of sale apply. A purchase belongs to your Apple ID and can be restored on your other devices with Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple through Report a Problem; we cannot refund purchases ourselves.
We do not warrant uninterrupted availability. Content, engines and features may be added, changed or removed in later versions.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached, and then limited to damage typical of this kind of contract and foreseeable at the time. Any further liability is excluded.
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

Purchases are one-time and belong to your Apple ID. On a new device or after reinstalling, open any locked engine and tap Restore Purchases. For a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page — Apple, not us, is the seller, so we cannot refund purchases ourselves.
The engine recordings are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence or with the recordists' permission. Every source is listed under Sound Credits at the bottom of the app.
